Personal Development
Traditional education systems often provide learners with a strong foundation of expertise but not always the necessary personal skills for its effective application in wider society. Highly knowledgeable individuals may as such lack the necessary confidence and self-efficacy to fully realise their potential contribution to local and national economies. As a particularly important concern for members of the younger generation, Floreo’s Personal Development programmes assist in cultivating participants’ ‘employability’ and cover the key requisite skills for those entering or re-entering the workforce; in more acute cases, our programmes aim to mitigate the likelihood of prolonged social and economic exclusion for those coming from underprivileged or marginalised backgrounds.
Course content is determined in collaboration with clients and comprehensive programmes can be designed, as required, with the integration of study modules from other areas. For interested participants, some of these programmes can be tailored to lead to externally awarded qualifications and certification.
